AVR spins out WorkshopBook, a booking platform for auto workshops

Advanced Vehicle Remapping (AVR), the Melbourne-based ECU remapping company, has spun out and seed-funded WorkshopBook, an online booking platform for independent automotive workshops.

WorkshopBook began as a simple experiment: AVR added off-the-shelf booking forms at a few workshops to see whether customers would book online. They would — but the forms left bookings unconfirmed, with shops and customers unsure what had actually gone through. WorkshopBook was built to close that gap, handling online bookings, confirmations and reminders alongside a workshop’s existing tools.

WorkshopBook is already serving workshops with live bookings, with more being onboarded now. Built and backed by AVR, it’s available at workshopbook.com.au.
